
Served the United States Army for 25 years as a Nurse & Retired as a Lieutenant Colonel at Fort Detrick,MD commanding USAMMDA (U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity). Started my career as a medic then went onto Officer Candidate School graduating as a Medical Service Corps Officer and then Army Nurse Corps Officer. Graduated from Creighton University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing & Graduated from University of Pennsylvania in 1997, with a Master of Science in Nursing.
Critical Care Nurse
In 1997, with a recently awarded Master of Science in Nursing. became the first Critical Care Nurse Practitioner in the Armed Services. Has been doing different nursing jobs and volunteering, off and on since retirement. Has been practicing nursing for well over 35 Years.
